Calling on Educators!
Teach the Nation Fellowship are inviting Educators who are permanently employed, to join our leadership development program. The program is fully funded and requires no expense or cost from the successful candidate. Our focus is aimed at under-resourced schools to bring about educational equity in South Africa. We are partnered with Teach For All and 57 other Educational Organisations around the world. The Fellowship is a two-year leadership development opportunity for educators, to continue in changing the lives of learners in their schools, whilst developing sought-after leadership skills.
The Fellowship Program Overview:
• 2x half-hour virtual coaching sessions per month suitable according to your schedule; 1x Professional Peer Learning Community (PPLC) contact session per term (1x Saturday)
• Profuturo Training, which is a Teacher Professional Development Project whereby educators will receive and facilitate training on modules such as classroom culture and emotional education
• Please note this program does not require any examinations but does require commitment, participation and completion of skills development pathways.
• Leadership certificate at the end of the 2-year program
• You will be part of our Alumni of teacher leaders around the world
• Are you currently a permanently employed educator working in an under-resourced school (Foundation Phase to Senior Phase)?
• Are you between the ages of 22 – 35?
• Do you have a bachelor’s degree in education or any teaching-related qualification or hold a bachelor's with a PGCE?
• Are you a South African Citizen
